    Senior Pastor

    Bekah began serving as the Senior Pastor of Foothills in January 2015. Originally from the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex, she left Texas to study at Bethany College and returned for her Master of Divinity at Brite Divinity School.  After ordination, she completed a certificate in Ecumenical Studies from Bossey Ecumenical Institute, a program of the World Council of Churches in Geneva Switzerland. Prior to moving to Phoenix, Bekah has served churches in Texas and Kentucky. Bekah and her husband Frank have two daughters ages 10 and 8, and another daughter on the way due in May 2022. In her free time she paints and enjoys spending time outdoors (when it's not too hot). 


  • Rev. Janel fairchild

    Associate Pastor

    Janel has recently received her Master of Divinity from Fuller Seminary, and is under care with the Arizona Disciples region pursing ordination. Currently, Janel serves Foothills as our Associate Pastor.  Janel is also a Licensed Professional Counselor, focusing on trauma counseling, and is an owner and clinical director at Phoenix Wellness Center.  Janel has been married to her husband, Richard, for 16 years.  They have 4 children who are 11, 9, 9, and 4.  In her free time, Janel trains with her family in Taekwondo.  She is very excited to have found a church to call home.


  • Connie Savage-Miroslaw

    Music Ministry Leader

    Connie’s music ministry calling and service began over 25 years ago after a pastor heard her sing outside of church and recruited her to be on his worship team. Connie has a true passion for leading worship. Her goal is to engage and connect others into a spiritual worship experience through prayer, reflection, and song. Connie also works in the accounting and finance field and holds two MBAs. Connie is married to James and has two grown children. In her spare time, she loves to hike, travel, and play the saxophone. Connie feels very blessed to have found Foothills Christian Church and is excited to be serving in the Music Ministry Leadership role.



    Administrative Assistant

    Tawni and her family recently moved to Arizona from the California Bay Area. She holds a Masters of Divinity degree from Fuller Theological Seminary and has over 25 years of administrative, accounting, and facilities experience. When she’s not behind a computer screen, she enjoys playing golf, tennis, reading, and spending time with her husband, Juan, and their four (4) boys – Cameron (28), Grant (20), Nate (13), and Jose (12). Tawni is passionate about hospitality and seeing people connected in the Body of Christ so they can grow and thrive in every season of life.
