Small group ministry at Foothills helps nurture meaningful relationships within our community. We offer a variety of small groups for different interests and availability.

thursday bible Study
Join us on Thursday mornings at 9:30 AM in the sanctuary for bible study. Sometimes we study a certain book of the bible one chapter at a time and other times we use bible study books to help us explore different topics. Check our calendar for up to date information because we take breaks every once and awhile. As Disciples we don't believe there is only one right way to interpret the bible, different perspectives are welcome here!

monthly book Club
On most months we meet on a Sunday evening at 6:00 PM to discuss a book we've read. This is the kind of group you can pop in and out of depending upon your availability and interest. We'll let you know what book we're reading and if it sounds intriguing, we'd love for you to join us! Get details about the next month's book by sending an email here.

- Deborah Group - This group typically meets at different members homes on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 1:00 PM.
- Mom's Lunch Out- This is a newly formed group that meets for lunch on the second Tuesday of the month at a local restaurant at noon. Check out our calendar for the next meeting time.

Wise guys & gals
Wise Guys and Gals is a fellowship group for retired men and women, held on the third Tuesday of each month at 11:30AM. Each month we meet at a different restaurant for lunch and fellowship. Since the location changes each month, check out our calendar for current information.

Worship Band
Interested in joining our band or singing during a service? Our worship band leads us in a blended music style -- that means our band plays everything from your favorite old hymns to contemporary Christian music, and all kinds of good stuff in between. (We've been known to sing music of The Beatles, Rihanna, and Jeff Buckley on any given Sunday). On a typical Sunday you'll hear guitar, bass, drums, horns, and a keyboard. On the first Sunday of each month we offer an After Worship Music Session for anyone interested in learning more about our music ministry program.

Foothills Knitters
Our knitting group is an active bunch, they give generously of their time and talent creating baby items for a nearby NICU and prayer shawls for members who are in need of extra comfort. Foothills Knitters meet on Monday mornings in the Fellowship Hall at 9:30 AM, but they don't meet during the Summer, so check our calendar to get the most accurate information.
